Ronda's Corner
I want to use my "corner" this week to share some startling yet fantastic news. I actually took some time this week and looked at the OCLC stats. I was so excited that I just knew I had to share it with everyone. I knew was busy, but I didn't realize how busy.
Back in September we had fourteen requests come in and managed to fill seven of them. October went up to forty one requests that came in and we were able to fill twenty three of them. (here comes the frosting)....In November we had ninety five requests come in and managed to fill sixty six of them! We ROCK!
We probably could have filled more if we didn't have Thanksgiving in there. Remember, they only give me three days to reply before the request moves on to the next library, so anything that came in just before or during the days over Thanksgiving were lost.
I want to thank everyone for sharing your books and AV material so willingly with the OCLC system.
